Trumpet Lessons

For beginners I recommend weekly 30 minute lessons; more advanced students and adults may benefit from 45 or 60 minute lessons.

My recommended minimum age for starting trumpet lessons is 9 years. This is based on expected physical development compared with the requirements of the instrument. There is no upper age limit!

Anyone receiving lessons must have access to a suitable instrument on which to practise. I am happy to advise on this.

Fees

Music tuition is charged at an hourly rate of £38.50

Lessons are either 30, 45 or 60 minutes and are charged pro rata:

30 minutes: £19.25

45 minutes: £28.88

60 minutes: £38.50

If tuition is delivered in your home, travelling time is charged pro rata at £20 per hour.

Lessons are paid for in advance, at the start of each term or other block of lessons (normally ten lessons per term/block).
