A little help when it’s needed

If you have need of a little extra help working towards SQA Music Examinations you have come to the right place.

I have been teaching Music for over 30 years and have spent the last 10 of those working as a Visiting Assessor in Music for the SQA.

Whether you need help with choosing performing repertoire and working with an accompanist, getting a firmer grasp of the concepts needed for the Listening Paper, or producing your composition (and/or analysis for Advanced Higher) I can help you to achieve your full potential.

Even if you just want to experience a wider range of music, I can point you in the right direction.

Fees

Music tuition is charged at an hourly rate of £38.50

Lessons are either 30, 45 or 60 minutes and are charged pro rata:

30 minutes: £19.25

45 minutes: £28.88

60 minutes: £38.50

If tuition is delivered in your home, travelling time is charged pro rata at £20 per hour.

Lessons are paid for in advance, at the start of each term or other block of lessons (normally ten lessons per term/block).
